Description

This muted soft sage green is made to suit all environments from interior woodwork to summer houses and external window frames, timber cladding and doors. An extremely popular colour in the Wood Protector range (Soft Sage), this suits the Royal formulation perfectly.

Suitable for all wood types with a quick drying formula with good adhesion and resistance. One coat will produce a translucent finish allowing the wood grain to really show through. A 2nd coat increases the opacity giving a richer deeper colour and a 3rd coat will produce a hard gloss finish.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.
