Royal Exterior Wood Finish - Czar Plum

Beautiful rich purple shade looks like the skin of a warm ripe plump plum at the height of the summer. Taken from our Wood Protector range this popular shade will translate well when taken from outside to the interior and used on wooden panelling and units.

High-end luxurious product that is enjoyable to use and easy to apply. Low odour product that is safer than creosote and plant and animal safe when dry. Requires two to three thin coats and is suitable for smooth or rough timber.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.
