Untreated or Pressure Treated Wood
We recommend our WOOD PRESERVATIVE ++ on untreated timber as a primer, if your timber is pressure treated or has been previously treated then there is no need to apply. Coverage based on 2-3 coats is 5m2 per litre.
Use our STAIN BLOCKING PRIMER if you are treating new or newly pressure treated timber and the top coat you are using is a light white containing colour. This will reduce the risk of tannins or the pressure treatment chemicals staining the top coat. Coverage is 5-10m2 depending on 1 or 2 coats applied.
