Description
This bluey/purple is inspired from a pot of ink. In the old days when people had ink on their desks and knew how to write with a fountain pen! John and Prue felt that navy would be too flat but the purple hues give a depth and colour to it and definitely makes you look twice.
Royal contains a naturally derived polyurethane based on linseed oil and a high-quality cross linking acrylic. High quality product that resists weathering and contains UV filters to prevent greying. Royal is quick and easy to use with no need for an undercoat or primer.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²
Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If 1 coat is to be applied for a translucent look, apply Royal Clear on top to produce a harder surface finish. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.
This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.
