Description

Decking Stain Rustic Oak is a wood stain that has been specially formulated to give a rich traditional look to all types of external timber decks. It is a wonderfully vibrant brown with a slight red tint that is very in keeping with most garden designs and colour schemes.

This wood stain will work best if two coats are applied. The first will act as a primer coat while the second will build up the colour and protection. For very busy decks you might consider putting down further coats.

Protek Decking Stain has been specially formulated to give all types of external timber decking an enriching colour that is hard wearing and lasts.

Once applied Protek Decking Stain leaves behind a hard durable surface that can withstand everyday foot traffic. It is a water based acrylic and Alkyd hybrid that incorporates a polyurethane dispersion based on linseed oil, a natural renewable resource.

The 2.5 litre tins will cover an area up to 20m2 per coat.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.

If you are installing new decking we recommend treating any cuts, notches and drilled areas in the timber with our ESP Timber - End Seal Preservative - Clear (also available in Green and Brown)
