Decking Stain - Antique Pine

This lush deep golden colour of an aged and varnished pine. This Antique Pine wood stain has been specifically designed for decking. The hard wearing wood stain will soak into softwood decks on the first coat lifting the grain of the timber giving better grip underfoot. Further coats will enhance the colour and protection offered from the decking stain.

This wood stain is highly durable and suitable for all decking items such as decking, balustrades, rails etc. and can also be used on garden furniture or timber buildings.

Protek Decking Stain has been specially formulated to give all types of external timber decking an enriching colour that is hard wearing and lasts.

Once applied Protek Decking Stain leaves behind a hard durable surface that can withstand everyday foot traffic. It is a water based acrylic and Alkyd hybrid that incorporates a polyurethane dispersion based on linseed oil, a natural renewable resource.

This waterproofing stain can also be used to colour and protect hardwood and softwood garden furniture, summerhouses etc.

The 2.5 litre tins will cover an area up to 20m2 per coat.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.

If you are installing new decking we recommend treating any cuts, notches and drilled areas in the timber with our ESP Timber - End Seal Preservative - Clear  (also available in Green and Brown)
