Royal Interior Wood Finish - Warm Clay

A natural shade that looks like the clay about to be thrown on a potter’s wheel or decorator’s putty. This wonderful muted shade suits every type of timber in all locations from planters and summerhouses to interior furniture and woodwork.
Produces a coating that is water-repellent and will protect against mould and fungal decay. Low in odour and low in VOC this wood stain is easy to apply and uses environmentally friendly technology to create a high quality protective coloured coating.

Coverage: 1 Litre will cover approximately 8m²

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If a lighter one coat finish is preferred we recommend 2 coats of Royal Clear to be applied on top, for added protection. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

For light colours, we recommend using our Stain Blocking Primer to prevent the top coat discolouring from possible tannin bleed.
