Royal Interior Wood Finish - Stone Grey

The soft light grey of pebbles shining at the bottom of a stream. Stone Grey as another shade that looks good on its own and compliments all of the other shades in the Royal Interior and Exterior ranges.

Royal contains a naturally derived polyurethane based on linseed oil and a high-quality cross linking acrylic. Water repellent finish that minimises the effects of weathering and UV resistant. Royal is quick and easy to use with no need for an undercoat or primer.

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If a lighter one coat finish is preferred we recommend 2 coats of Royal Clear to be applied on top, for added protection. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.

For light colours, we recommend using our Stain Blocking Primer to prevent the top coat discolouring from possible tannin bleed.
