The Autumn Garden tidy up is in full swing and when the weather does allow it really is time to do essential garden maintenance before the Winter comes. Check your timber buildings and structures for signs of rot and make sure they are waterproof and leak free. Check your roof and make sure your guttering is clear and add a maintenance coat of Protek if required.
1. Check for signs of rot, either replace timbers or retreat with a wood preservative.
2. Does the building need retreating/painting, is it still waterproof.
3. Inspect the roof, is it going to let in rain or will the wind damage it.
4. Check the guttering, clean out any build up and repair if necessary.
5. Check doors and windows, make sure they don’t leak, use a water-proof coating.
