Raising a glass to our remarkable Queen

In a few days we will all be raising a glass to our remarkable Queen. Seventy years of service, it is quite right that the Platinum Jubilee should be marked.
What are you doing to celebrate? Is it a street party with the neighbours, a family party or even a picnic?
One garden that is perfect for a party is Prue Leith’s garden. Last year we supplied Prue with paint for her new garden.
Prue’s husband John had a plan to upcycle their weather worn garden furniture. Out went the black and in came colour …..and lots of it!
Have a fun weekend - being party of history.
Quinky Table
The table and chairs were given a brand new look in a specially created colour. Quinky. Think pot of ink, the blue/purple colour changes in different lights.
It looks positively regal and the perfect backdrop to all the splendid food.

Guardsman Red Bench
Pimp up your bench with a bright and cheerful colour.
Painted in a Prue Exclusive colour – Guardsman Red.
The inspiration for this colour was military uniforms (of which we will see plenty of over the next few days).
A strong, confident red that adds a pop of colour against a hedge.

Somerset Blue
Bright chairs painted in Somerset Blue. Somerset Blue is one of the oldest colours in our range. It is a bright shade that works well as a contrast against green.
