Win with Wood Competition Results 2015

Win with Wood 1st place winner 2015We would like to thank everyone for sending in pictures and entering our competition. There was an amazing response and we had a spectacular variety of entries and creative designs.

As always judging was extremely hard and a team of judges was enlisted from the Protek offices, Garden Street who kindly supplied the Rowlinson Hampton Companion Seat and another one of Proteks’ major customers also helped out.

Win with Wood 2nd place winner 2015By popular demand Stephanie Hayman took 1st place with her ‘She Shed’. People felt that not only was her design on the shed eye-catching but demonstrated a lot of thought with the blue blocks reflecting the block patterns of the paving and log store painted to become an integral part of her overall garden design.

In 2nd place was Hayley Vance with her ‘Mole Hole’. I loved the elegance and simplicity of her design and the way her colour combination of Royal Exterior Carmine Red and Cashmere beautifully complimented her planting.

Win with Wood 3rd place winner 20153rd place went to John Frisby who used Wood Stain & Protector in Poppy and Warm Stone to create an attractive and harmonious scene that I would love to see in my garden!

There were so many creative and amazing entries that I had to award a number of runners up places. High Merit awards of 20% discount vouchers were given to Keith Rowbottom, Keltie Seaber and Brian Greathead, all of whom sent in some outstanding pieces of work. Phil Monk & June Grist were awarded a 15% discount in recognition of the high levels of creativity and skill that went in to producing their pieces. Andrea Soloman was awarded a 15% discount voucher for the ‘Best Looking Cat’ in a new category . . .

An enormous thank you and 10% discount vouchers went out to everyone that took the time to enter the competition. We thoroughly love seeing what people get up to with our woodstains and look forward to seeing the entries in 2016.

The Win with Wood Competition 2016 is now open but will be formally launched in the New Year. Entries can be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Win with Wood - lots of winners
