Andy Canham, Shire Show Village Manager shares his excitement on the village opening and his experiences of getting stuck in with Protek wood stains.

Having been a keen supporter of Protek products for over a  20 year period, we can truly say that Sadolin, Ronseal and Cuprinol are no match for Protek’s paints.

As a company Shires have been selling garden buildings since the 1980’s and have been using paints and stains religiously to prolong the life of our stunning Garden Buildings Range

I have seen how other companies’ paints can state up to five years life span, but they have failed within a year to our disappointment even after three intense coats.

The sun can cause a lot of damage to timber paints, almost entirely stripping the paint from the wood. We know for a fact this is not the case with Protek as it really impregnates the wood to give you that sheer cover that lasts for many years.

While we have been working hard over this past winter to extend our Show Village we have been collating the latest colour schemes to entice customers into styling their new purchases with a touch of class and daringness.

I can personally vouch for Protek paints as I did much of the painting in my full office suit and don’t have a single splash or drop of paint on any of my clothing! Not what my dry cleaner said last time I used a competitor’s paint!

With a little imagination you too can be a creative star and model your garden building to really suit your individual tastes and needs.

All are welcome to come and visit our Shire Show Village, officially open this spring. Opening Times are 8am till 4pm, Mon-Fri, Weekends are by prior appointment although we are hoping that due to popular demand this may change.
