Riding on the wave of success from winning ‘Best Exterior Paint 2024’ and appearing at Grand Designs Excel London, the Protek Woodcare ‘Show Garden’, featuring new autumnal planting will, again, treat visitors to an uplifting and interactive outdoor haven. Designed specifically for Grand Designs, the garden provides all the outdoor design project inspiration and expert advice required to take visitors creative projects to another level. team.
An oasis of tranquillity, the beautiful Protek show garden is a destination for visitors; painted in Protek Royal Exterior ‘Verdant’ – a stunning new green colour that a brings a stylish, elegant touch of nature and serenity to the busy backdrop of the show. The ‘Verdant’ colour is part of the Royal Exterior range that has landed Protek a top award, winning the ‘Best Exterior Paint Category’, in an exciting new consumer award - the Ideal Home ‘Garden Awards’ 2024. The actual award will be displayed to the public for the first time at the show.
Visitors to the show can enjoy a peaceful stroll and sit in the garden, featuring a real 10ft olive tree surrounded by spectacular, rich planting, where they can discuss their incredible outdoor projects with the Protek team.

An integral part of the show garden is a visually stunning and interactive ‘Colour wall’ offering project inspiration and the opportunity to a choose a favourite colour palette, from a huge array of the 160 colours, across the Protek range. Visitors can create their own ‘Protek build-a-box’ – laying out their chosen palette of painted sample colour ‘chips’, selecting an array of ‘Get the Look’ A5 inspirational cards illustrated with project photography and detailing everything they need to bring their own project to life.

Always driven to offer consumer education and knowledge, Protek will again appear at the Grand Designs Live Theatre, hosted by Kunle Barker, for an hour of advice, inspiration and a concluding Q&A session for the audience to delve into their burning questions. Becky Rackstraw, Director at Protek, comments “Heading up our Protek expert panel team, I will be joined by Matt Leigh from ITV’s Love you Garden, to offer the audience valuable insight, and hopefully some fun.”
