Stable Coat - Golden Brown

The Golden Brown colour is traditionally the most popular colour for stables. It is the colour we supply to the stable manufacturing industry and the colour we frequently get asked to supply to stable owners so they can re-treat their stable in the same colour. It is a rich brown colour with a golden undertone; we originally matched the colour to the old spirit–based and creosote treatments.  Golden Brown is a very attractive and tasteful colour for the traditional stable yard.

Protek Stable Coat has been specifically formulated for the exterior treatment of timber stables and animal housing. A high quality water-based treatment that is easy to apply either by a brush, roller or sprayer so large areas may be treated quickly and economically.  Stable Coat is a water-based micro-porous coating that uses next generation nanotechnology to deliver an extremely hydrophobic finish that will prolong the life of your timber stable.

Protek Stable Coat is easy to apply and designed for use on old or new stables. It is low in odour and has a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) content. The unique formulation has been designed to give a quick drying thin one coat application leaving a traditional finish, that is peel and crack resistant.

Protek Stable coat is available in three traditional colours, Golden Brown, Dark Brown and the dramatic Black. Protek Stable Coat is also available in a Clear. As Stable Coat is water based and contains no heavy metals it means this product is a safe and odour free alternative to Creosote

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver ++ first.
