This is a month when some of my favourite flowers are adorning the garden with beautiful colours and sweet scents. The bulbs are displaying glorious colours with gladioli, tulips, fritillaria and the wonderful but short lived iris all showing their splendour. Other favourites include the jewel-like nigella, traditional foxglove, glamorous poppy, majestic magnolia and ever beautiful wisteria. Truly a month to soak in the beauty of the garden!
