Lounging About in the Country

17th Oct 2015

Sun Loungers make overA set of 6 hardwood sun loungers sat untreated, faded by the sun and covered in algae. Firstly the timber was stripped back using an industrial power washer that made quick work of an otherwise laborious task.

Next remnants of algae were removed and killed by using a paint brush to apply a solution of water and bleach. This was left to dry in the sun and the surfaces were then ready for treatment.

Royal Exterior Hazelwood was selected to give the furniture a sleek attractive wooden tone and protect them from further attack from the elements.

The end result was fantastic  and the newly restored and beautiful sun loungers provided the perfect prop for barbeques, picnics and relaxing in the sun.
