Charmouth Beach Huts given the Royal Treatment

22nd Jul 2014

Charmouth Beach HutsFollowing the storm devastation at the start of 2014, the parish council at the picturesque and historic village of Charmouth in Dorset set about repairing some of the damage to their coastline.

On a stretch of the beach renowned for fossil hunting, a strip of new beach huts were supplied & erected by Beaminster Sheds treated in Protek’s Royal Exterior Soft Mocha, blending naturally within the coastal defences.

A row of beach huts sitting on the top edge of the beach looking out to sea were painted with Royal Exterior in Eggshell Blue and Somerset Blue. This protective and attractive coating beautifully reflects the colours of the sea and sky looking equally as good on a bright summers day or a moody tempestuous one.

Charmouth Parish Council are delighted with the results and found Royal Exterior a pleasure to work with. Next to be given a Royal makeover will be the long row of green beach huts that curve around the edge of the top field above the beach.
